I, too, once lived the life of doing what I was “supposed” to do. After graduating from college, finding a “good” job and moving up the career ladder, I was considered a success story in my community.
It wasn’t until 25 years later that I discovered the perceived success I attained was NOT what I wanted. I was living someone else’s dreams. The expectation of just settling and not living a life of purpose was exhausting. It forced me to suppress my talents, decreasing my level of passion for life.
I did everything society said should be done to be successful: go to school and work for someone else. I let life pass me by, but I had no other option, right?
Wrong. After soul searching and making a decision, I chose to live my life on purpose!
I finally transitioned from an employee – working to finance and fulfill someone else’s dream – to creating the life I CRAVE!
Now, several years later, I have coached individuals who were stuck in corporate America with the desire to create a life on purpose. Through my book, Before You Say “I DO” to Entrepreneurship, and coaching programs, I will guide you through the journey of transitioning from your 9 to 5 job to unapologetically living your truth and walking in your purpose.
